Maxifleur already possessed a rich transactional dataset but lacked the tooling to effectively utilize that data for retention marketing. Abandoned shopping carts went unnoticed, repeat purchases were not encouraged, and email campaigns were generic rather than personalized. The data was available; the connection to the marketing channel was missing.
What is Reloadify? Reloadify is a Dutch email marketing and marketing automation tool specifically built for e-commerce. The integration with Magento 2 makes it possible to directly translate customer behavior, order history, and abandoned carts into personalized, automated email campaigns without manual exports or intermediary tools.
Younify built a custom API connector between Magento 2 and Reloadify that keeps customer data, order data, and the product catalog in sync. The connector is event-driven: every relevant Magento event—such as an order placed, account created, or cart abandoned—triggers real-time synchronization to Reloadify. A built-in retry mechanism ensures that in the event of temporary API errors, events are buffered and resubmitted, so that no customer interaction is lost.
The product feed integration ensures that Reloadify always has an up-to-date catalog, including prices and stock status, so that dynamic product blocks in emails never display outdated information. The connection was further expanded with multi-store view support: emails are personalized by language and country based on the store view from which the customer ordered.
Following implementation, the Maxifleur marketing team was able to activate fully automated abandoned cart flows for the first time, segmented by product category and order frequency. The open rates and click-through rates for behavior-triggered emails were significantly higher than those for generic newsletters—a directly measurable result of relevance at the right moment.
