For Wink & See, there was a specific bottleneck: a CLS (Cumulative Layout Shift) issue on the product page caused elements to shift while the page was loading. For mobile users, this meant clicking the wrong button, frustration, and dropping off, precisely on the page where the purchase decision is made.
Younify installed Rumvision for a structured Real User Monitoring analysis and compiled a priority report with the most impactful points for improvement. The CLS issue on the product page was resolved through image reservation and targeted CSS adjustments, ensuring elements remain stably in place during loading.
Additional optimizations were implemented: lazy loading for images outside the viewport, inlining critical CSS, and reducing render-blocking scripts. While the Hyvä architecture already provided a strong advantage over Luma as a foundation, these targeted interventions structurally brought the scores into the green zone.
