A strong Product Owner (PO) is the key to a successful trajectory for us. The PO represents your interests, sets priorities, and ensures that development aligns with your goals. We therefore advise all our clients to appoint a PO. If you do not have one available internally, we can facilitate that role for you.
The process begins with the PO, who submits the technical tasks. Subsequently, we go through a pre-refinement together to fully understand and sharpen the tasks. This is followed by the refinement with our development team, where tasks are discussed and assigned story points—a measure of the required effort. Our clear processes are designed to deliver tasks correctly the first time, exactly as described by the PO.
Every service client has a fixed number of story points per sprint. Together with our team lead, the PO determines which tasks will be included in the upcoming sprint, aligned with your priorities and available budget. This way, you always maintain control over what is being built and can continuously adjust your development budget without unexpected costs afterwards.
At the beginning of each month, you know exactly what you are receiving for the corresponding invoice. We do not charge extra hours if a task turns out to be more complex than expected. A task is delivered as described by the PO, period. What has been agreed upon is delivered, for the price that was agreed upon.
We guarantee that we plan sufficient capacity for every sprint and that the agreed tasks are completed within that same sprint. After the sprint concludes, the delivered functionalities are immediately pushed to the live environment, so you see results quickly.
We conclude every sprint with a demo and a retrospective. During the demo, we showcase the delivered functionalities and verify whether the result aligns with expectations. In the retrospective, we look back at the process together: what went well, and what could be improved? This regular feedback ensures that we continue to grow as a team and in our collaboration, sprint after sprint.
